About the garden

Hidden away from the bustle of modern life in a tranquil rural setting, Bluebell Cottage Gardens is a Cheshire gem with two acres of richly planted gardens, a wildflower meadow and the eponymous bluebell woods, which are a real spectacle in spring. With such a quiet location, this garden is perfect for those who just want to sit back on a bench and take in the sounds of nature, watching the pollinators buzzing through beautiful herbaceous borders.

After you’ve enjoyed exploring the gardens, take a trip to the RHS Gold Medal-winning plant nursery, where you can browse a wonderful selection or pick up plants reserved online (make sure to check out their website before you go!). For those feeling a bit peckish after a stroll through the woodland, there’s also a lovely tea room with indoor and outdoor seating.

I took my little one today I'm not into gardening so I can not comment on the plants they sell but I paid £5 to go into the garden and my daughter loved it what a beautiful garden it is. There is so much love gone into it. There are so many different sections to explore. On our way out we had tea and cake and this was very reasonably priced the staff I met was very friendly and helpful. The car park is free.

Lovely little traditional garden centre. Definitely on visit list for spring. Get some flowers for the garden.

Beautiful gardens with gorgeous views over the borders, meadow and orchard. Plus lovely seating areas and wandering paths to explore the borders. We picnicked in the meadow then purchased some unusual plants from the nursery. All the staff were friendly and helpful and there was also cake 😊 We'll definitely visit again.

Went for first time. So much more could be done with it. Cafe needs updating and few more snacks maybe. . Bit cleaner too. If you sold bedding plants in spring you would make a lot more especially with a tea room. Disappointed ☹️

The most beautiful place to visit, the garden is sublime, highly recommend. They also have a fantastic selection of brilliant perennials for sale which are amazing quality.
