About the garden

Birr Castle is home to extensive formal gardens that are open to the public throughout the year. There are also great views of the castle and a number of walks that take in the multitude of plants and flowers. There is also a lake, rivers, and a waterfall.

January 2nd to March 16th at 10am-4pm March 17th to October 27th at 9am-6pm October 28th to November 5th at 9am-4.30pm November 6th to December 24th at 10am-4pm December 27th to December 31st at 10am-4pm Last admission one hour before closing
