Lovely gardens, something different round every corner. Red squirrels to spot as well!! A wonderful afternoon finished off in their "self service" cafe, where we feasted on homemade ice creams and tea!! They have freshly made sandwiches, homemade soups and yummy proper homemade cakes!! An absolute gem!! Also dog friendly!

Beautiful place to visit, I loved the mix of beautiful garden and ancient woodland with sequoia and more, if you are a tree or flower lover this is a great place to see. The grounds and buildings are lovely and the honesty cafe is fab, the food is fresh and delicious especially the sandwiches and homemade cakes. Lovely place to walk and enjoy a wide range of non native flowers and beautiful gardens great value for money. Lovely staff too

Had an absolutely lovely walk around the gardens after the warmest welcome from Joanna. Also had a wonderful lunch at the self service cafe halfway round. Will definitely come back.

Lovely gardens, with the azaleas and rhododendrons at their best. Lovely geraniums as effective ground cover. Good place even on a bad day. Small self-servicw cafe.

Amazing gardens and was even lucky enough to see a Red Squirrel! I recommend asking to the statues trail, some are surprisingly hard to find!
